Introduction

POSNext is an open-source Point of Sale system for ERPNext, forked from the default ERPNext POS. This system incorporates the best features of POSAwesome and introduces additional functionalities to meet the needs of modern businesses. POSNext is designed to be an alternative to POSAwesome, offering enhanced flexibility and customization.

Getting Started

POSNext is built on top of ERPNext default POS module. To start using POSNext, ensure you have a working installation of ERPNext.

Prerequisites

• A running instance of ERPNext version-15

  Setting Up POSNext

  1. Installation:

     • Frappe Cloud Marketplace

  2. Configuration:

     • Navigate to the POS Profile settings in ERPNext.

     • Configure the basic settings such as currency, default warehouse, Users

     • Set up user roles and permissions specific to POS.

  • Show Order List Button

  • Show Held Button

  • Mobile Number Based Customer

  • Show Checkout Button

  • Show only List View

  • Show only Card View

  • Show Open Form View

  • Show Toggle Recent Orders

  • Show Save as Draft

  • Show Close the POS

  • Mobile Number Length

  • Send WhatsApp Invoice ( Only support Mobile Number Based Customer )

  • POS profile changes from POS for different operations, such as multiple currency handling or other purposes.
