Fax

A Faxing System for Frappe Framework using Telnyx API.

Send faxes from Frappe's Desk interface.

Requires Telnyx account, DID phone number and API key.

Utilize the Frappe Framework to provide outbound online fax capabilities. Add Fax Sender with a unique API key and application ID from Telnyx. Users can only see their own faxes. Since Telnyx allows setting an email address for inbound faxes, this app is a great complement, allowing outbound faxes via a web page. The user attaches a PDF file for the fax document.

Get Started

1. Create a Fax Sender
2. At Telnyx you’ll need a DID and set up a Fax Application
3. Add the DID number, Application ID, and API Key
4. From the dashboard, use the New Outgoing Fax button to send a new fax.
5. Fill in the required information (Destination number, attach the PDF)
6. Save and Send!
7. Wait for the confirmation success indicator.

Future enhancements

If there's enough demand, we may create a fax cover page option. Allowing

users to enter form data to populate a cover page that will be combined

with the attached PDF.
